The No.496 Devon Pattern Gate Drop is a traditional galvanised gate fastener, 150mm long, that hooks between staples fitted to the gate and the post. It is animal proof when used with a padlock, which is what makes it worth having on a paddock or stable gate where stock will otherwise work an ordinary latch open. Gate staples are not included with this version and need ordering separately.
